I wake up every morning felling like P Diddy.

I don't see the point in buying designer if you're just paying for the label. Sure, it's definitely quality, too, but if I'm gonna buy a Burberry scarf, I want the signature plaid, right? Or if I'm going to get a gift from Tiffany's from my dear friends for my thirteenth birthday, it better well be a charm bracelet with a heart-shaped tag inscribed with "Please return to Tiffany & Co. New York" And my initials on the other side in cursive. (If you didn't guess, that is precisely what I got for my 13th Birthday. Thanks again, Elisa, Jessie, and David!) Anyway, I just think that you buy designer for its status, so if it's just a plain black T-shirt, might as well buy it from Ross instead of Nordstrom. But for a show-stopping party dress, go to Betsey Johnson. And that's exactly why I can't stand knock-offs. If you aren't gonna pay for an original, don't bother. It underminds those designers who have worked and poured their heart and soul and sanity into each design. Copying it makes it accessible, and therefore undesirable. Okay, Lisa's rant is over. I better get to sleep, I actually have to wake up in the morning. Happy Valentines day, and good night!

OFF WITH THEIR HEADS!

Ah, valentines day. One of my favorite holidays, even though it seems almost pointless. Wanna know why? Because I can dress up in all out pink and red getups and won't get those insane stares I usually get. Well, I will, but who cares? So, I was at Amara's Birthday party last night. Amara, BTW, is one of my bestest friends evar. Okay. It was Alice in Wonderland theme, so naturally I went as the Queen of Hearts! It was, indeed, fabulous. We ended up with 3 Chescher cats, though. Let's see. I can't think of anything worthwhile to tell y'all. So, I'll see ya tomorrow! G'Night.

'Cause I'm a friggin' role model, that's why!

First of all; Condolences to the family and friends and fans of Lee Alexander McQueen. I couldn't believe it when I saw it on Tavi Gevinson's Blog yesterday. This is just such a shock. But, I suppose everything happens for a reason. So we can't dwell forever. So, on a much lighter note, I'm so happy about my new Harpers Bazaar! I think my parents were getting tired of, "Do I have any magazines in the mail today?" So I got Teen Vogue a couple of days ago, Bazaar yesterday, and a Nordstrom catalog today. Catalogs aren't riveting, but they're great for making tear sheets on my wall- another thing I bet my parents are tired of. Anyway, back to topic. I should really stop being so ADHD about changing subjects. So, there was a really great spread that I loved entitled Designer Double Take, and it featured Iris Strubegger, who could be my new favorite model, modeling as some iconic designers including John Galliano and (Eeeiii!) Karl Lagerfeld. Here's some pictures I took with my webcam-

In order- Rei Kawakubo, Vivenne Westwood, John Galliano, Donnatella Versace, Karl Lagerfeld. BTW, the photographs were by Karl! Yes, I'm pretending I'm on a first-name basis with people like Karl Lagerfeld. Oh, so here's a picture of Iris, the model for this shoot at a different shoot. I think this was in Japanese vogue, I don't know, though.

Looks like it's time to do something productive, so I will sign off now. Later, peeps!

I come in Peace!

Hello, all! So, here's my rad new blog. Yay!I finally got around to starting one. High Five! Not really though. Don't beat up your poor computer. If you're like me, you're totally un-tech-savvy, so pummeling your monitor would just add injury to insult. As Frankie says, I've destroyed more technology than he's ever owned. Frankie, BTW, is my Techie friend. When I break my Macbook, I go to him. BACK TO THE TOPIC AT HAND- yeah, new blog. Right. So, this post has been fluff. But I'll post something worthwhile soon, so check back!
